Second Chakra – Sacral Chakra – Located under the belly button. Looks after Bladder, kidneys, reproductive sysem and lower abdomen.
The Base Chakra gives you what you need to survive, and then we move up to the Sacral Chakra that gives us what we desire, and what gives us pleasure. So, rather than living a life of only ever having just enough, we can live a life of abundance and pleasure. We can attract into our lives the things that aren’t just a necessity to life, but the things we want in our life just for pure enjoyment.
If your Sacral Chakra is in balance, you will attract delightful things into your life. You will be surrounded by beauty, whether it be gardens or art galleries. You will be having spontaneous fun and enjoying romantic sunsets, losing yourself in the moment and lovemaking. You will live a life of having more than enough money, love, success and happiness. Wow, give me some of this!
If your Sacral Chakra is out of balance, it can go two ways. You could be completely obsessed with material things and have a complete abundance of wealth, power and success, but then that will throw your other chakras out, so your base chakra may suffer and you won’t have good, loving, real relationships with people, with your tribe. Or, the second way may be out of balance in a way that you struggle to be successful or you just don’t try at all. You go to work but don’t like what you do and you find it hard to see the pleasures in life.
The Sacral Chakra can be energised by spending time each day in gratitude, or spending some time each day to find something that make you feel joyful. It doesn’t need to be a big thing. You may find joy in gazing at a flower, or enjoying a cup of tea, or walking on the beach or making love to your partner. You can also find something that makes you feel abundant and allow yourself to acknowledge the feelings of abundance. By consciously having feelings of gratitude, joy and abundance, you will be creating and attracting more of this into your life.
